We personally want to thank all participants in the “Stop The Attack On The Middle Class Rally” held on Friday April 8th. We had over 100 strong supporters to inform State Rep. Todd Rock that we will not support him in the future unless he reconsiders the Bill HB-50. Supporters included; UAW Local 171, UAW Local 1590, UAW Local 1872, SEIU, Teamsters and the Democratic Party of Franklin County and Baltimore County and most of all approximately 30-40 supporters were from UAW Local 1296.

   Per Region 8, UAW Local 1296 is the best kept secret in the region, due to the community activities that we do and how when called upon we respond. So on behalf of the Executive Board, we personally want to thank our Union brothers and sisters who stood in solidarity. We are not done yet; there are other state reps we need to inform. Please stay tuned for upcoming date and times.
